Attendance in class is mandatory for the on site version of this course (Oct 21-22). No exceptions. No papers will be accepted from students who have not attended in person (so if you were unfortunately unable to attend, make sure you drop the course right away). 

Attendance is worth 1/4 of your grade. Students are expected to engage in discussion throughout the two days of class. There will be breaks and lunch on Saturday.
