Course description: The course will encourage students to be mindful of how our society is mediated by technology. It combines readings, discussion, and a project asking students to log and analyze use of their smart phones over a period of time. Assignments will consist of participation in discussions and a paper combining the journaling with readings. Highly recommended that students have and use a smart phone (link to syllabus).
