Senior Capstone in Applied Sociology

Soc 403 is an individualized capstone, I teach it as a field placement course in social welfare (see checksheet). It’s a 5-credit course (not variable credit), and it includes an applied research component. In other words, you will be doing some sort of research project related to your practicum experience.

There is also a thematic, class-based senior capstone, Soc 410, offered either Fall or Spring terms.
